Biography

Eric M. Green has served as President and CEO of West Pharmaceutical Services, Inc. since April 2015 and as chair of the board since May 2022. As CEO, Eric leads over 10,000 team members dedicated to containing and delivering injectable therapies that improve patients’ lives. The company’s 2025 net sales reached $3.07 billion, driven by the annual production of more than 41 billion components and devices across the globe. Under Eric’s leadership, West is accelerating its business strategy through advanced pharmaceutical packaging and delivery solutions tailored to the unique needs of its customers.

Prior to joining West, Eric held the position of Executive Vice President and President for the Research Markets business unit for Sigma-Aldrich Corporation. There, he developed broad international expertise through variety of regional, commercial, and operational leadership roles during his 20-year tenure.

Eric holds an MBA from the Olin Business School at Washington University in St. Louis and bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Bethel University. He serves as an independent director on the Ecolab board, participating in the Governance Committee and acting as chair of the Compensation and Human Capital Management Committee.
