Biography

Don O’Callaghan serves as President of Drug Delivery Devices. In this role, Don has global end-to-end responsibility for West’s proprietary drug device products, including strategic business development, product design and management, engineering, supply chain, and manufacturing operations.

Don originally joined West in 2006 as Managing Director of The Tech Group in Europe (a West acquired company in 2005). He then served as VP & GM of Contract Manufacturing Europe, prior to moving into a new role as VP, European Elastomer Operations in 2015. Most recently, Don held the role of VP, Global Operations for Contract Manufacturing and Medical Devices. Prior to joining West, Don served as VP and GM for Europe for Viking Components, Inc.

He has extensive operational and business management experience with major US multinationals across several geographies, including General Electric, Motorola and Apple.

Don holds a BSc. Engineering from the University of Limerick, Ireland and completed the Executive Development Program (EDP) at the Irish Management Institute (IMI).
