Biography

Mr. Hofmann retired from Sunoco, Inc.—a diversified energy company— in 2008, where he was Senior Vice President and CFO from January 2002 to December 2008. In that role, he was responsible for managing the accounting, auditing, investor relations and strategic planning, tax, and treasury functions of the organization. He also chaired the Company’s Capital Management Committee and served as the management liaison to the Audit Committee. Mr. Hofmann served Sunoco in various other senior management roles since joining in 1977. Mr. Hofmann serves on the boards of Fox Chase Cancer Center and The Island School Foundation. He also serves on the President’s Leadership Council of the University of Delaware.
